Visual Art Installations
“PrayerStream” – Created by Hazel Bell-Koski, these sacred silkscreened flags (over 1,000 feet being installed at Revival!) were handmade throughout various community circles, and have held space at dozens of ceremonial & activist gatherings over the years.
“The Mural Project“ – Join Sara Snedeker, (creativity coach & professional muralist), as she guides people in exercising their painting bodies to co-create 2 beautiful murals about who we are and why we’re here! Sara will also be leading a workshop on moving past blockages and into our birthright as Creative Beings.
“Cascadia Underground“ – Cascadia Underground is a Seattle-based media center and Cascadia wide collective that provides action-focused education, resources and community space for the Cascadia movement and bioregional issues. By magnifying diverse voices, stories and perspectives, we empower Cascadians to actively resist oppression, exploitation, discrimination or marginalization.
Mari Shibuya – Live painting & art installations around the grounds!!! A couple of questions that fuel Mari’s art are: What are the underlying threads tying the psychic realm and the physical realm together? What is the algorithm that propels human evolution? A desire to explore the imaginal world motivates my artistic missions. This ineffable world that imprints physical matter and the intrinsic patterns that exist within all levels of Life is of central fascination. My artistic exploration is a space to distill my philosophical expansion.
Rose Drummond – Rose Drummond is a self taught Pacific Northwest artist paying homage to the power of the Sacred Earth and the Divine Feminine. Rose is focused on bringing a new paradigm to life, one that honors the Earth, recognizes Feminine Power as the creators of life, and acknowledges the power of Divine Sensuality. She believes that the more this paradigm is witnessed, the more likely it will become reality.
Penelope Torribio – Penelope is a master puppeteer. Her extensive 600+ puppet collection of over 600 puppets has traveled around the world performing for thousands of people and learning from puppeteers from other countries. She teaches puppet making, manipulation and scriptwriting. During her years of teaching teens and children in danger to themselves or others, she discovered the magic of puppets to transform behavior. She researched puppets and the brain and has presented several times at the Brain Expo in San Diego. She also uses puppetry to increase knowledge and caring for our earth, and most of her puppet scripts have something to do with ecology. You’ll find her setup at Revival teaching, demonstrating, and catalyzing a collective participant performance!
“The QuoteBoards“ – Posted on trees, tables, & pathways; these rotating placards will invite unexpected lyrical wisdom into your movements about camp. Anticipate the likes of Hafiz, Climbing Poetree, Charles Eisenstein, Adrienne Marie Brown, Meister Eckhardt, Vendana Shiva, and more!
